Getting to Vail

DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT is approximately 2 hours from Vail.

EAGLE COUNTRY REGIONAL AIRPORT is approximately 35 minutes from Vail.

There are rental car services available at both airports. There are also a variety of shuttle services available from Denver and Eagle to Vail (we recommend Colorado Mountain Express). You may want to keep your rental car if you plan to stay in an Airbnb, or in the towns of Avon or Minturn. Otherwise once in Vail, there’s a free bus line between villages and a car shouldn’t be needed.

Parking

Unless your hotel provides parking, you will need to park in the Vail Village Parking Garage which is FREE during this off-season weekend. You can walk anywhere from this garage, including the Chapel and the Sonnenalp Hotel.
